Indoor activity for a cold day -A Favourite Craft Recipe: GOO/SLIME

GOO/SLIME
#2 on my list of  favourite craft recipes – Whatever you call it Goo, Gak, Slime, Ooze it is great!
There is little clean up, kids of all ages love it and it keeps forever (well, nearly forever.)
We make a giant batch (triple the recipe below) and everyone gets to pick their own colour.
When we’re done it gets stowed away for another day.

What you’ll need:

1/2 c  glue
1/2c + 1c  water.
food colour
1 tsp borax
Combine borax with 1 c water, stir until disolved.
Separately combine 1/2 c glue with 1/2 warm water and food colour.
Add glue mix, to borax mix slowly stir as much as you can then use your hands.

It will keep indefinitely in a ziptop bag.

Stay tuned, every tuesday until Winter Break I will post one of my favourite craft recipes
